Terms of Service

Last updated: 5 April 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SmartLock Automation ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SmartLock Automation provides a platform for automating smart lock access code management, including importing booking data from connected data sources (such as spreadsheets or booking platforms) and synchronising codes with connected smart lock platforms. The Service is intended for property managers and short-term rental operators.

3. Third-Party Integrations

The Service allows you to connect third-party accounts and platforms (such as Google, SmartThings, or TTLock) to enable reading of booking data and programming of smart locks on your behalf. By connecting any third-party service you authorise SmartLock Automation to access the data described in the Privacy Policy. You may revoke any integration at any time from within the platform or directly via the relevant provider.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect any account or data source you link to the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to access data or systems you are not authorised to access.
  • Attempt to circumvent any security measures of the Service.
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
  • Connect third-party accounts belonging to another person without their explicit consent.

5. Data Accuracy

Lock codes are generated and assigned based on data you provide or import from connected sources. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of that source data (e.g. booking dates and guest details). SmartLock Automation accepts no liability for incorrectly assigned or expired codes resulting from inaccurate source data.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for your particular purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SmartLock Automation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including but not limited to property access issues resulting from lock code failures.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
